Biosketch: Marino Pezzolo is a PhD candidate in Global Studies: Economy, Society, and Law at the University of Urbino and a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science, University of Naples Federico II. His academic work focuses on corporate welfare, occupational wellbeing, and the role of social policies in fostering active ageing. Marino specializes in qualitative research methods, particularly semi-structured interviews and content analysis. Marino has authored several publications, including studies on the relationship between digitalization and corporate welfare, the ethical dimensions of sustainability reporting, and the dynamics of undocumented migrants in the Italian labor market. His doctoral dissertation investigates the impact of occupational welfare systems on Italian SMEs, addressing issues such as pension funds, healthcare services, work-life balance initiatives, and the role of digital providers in delivering welfare services. Marino has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences, such as the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN) Annual Conference and the ESPAnet Europe conference.
