Biosketch: Roberto Impicciatore is an Associate Professor of Demography in the Department of Statistical Sciences at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. He is the director of the Bachelor's degree program in International Development and Cooperation. He is a member of the Faculty Board for the PhD programs in Life Course Research (LCR) and Economic Sociology and Labour Studies (ESLS-NASP). Currently serving as the vice Principal Investigator (PI) for the PRIN project "Geography and Social Inequality in Italy (GESI). Additionally, he serves on the editorial committee of the IUSSP’s online news magazine and is Vice President of the Neodemos Association. His research primarily focuses on internal and international migration, family dynamics, and life course studies in Italy and Europe. Research interests primarily focus on internal and international migrations, family dynamics, and life courses. His works have been published in top-ranked demographic and sociological journals such as International Migration Review, Population Studies, European Journal of Population, Demographic Research, Population, Space and Place, Regional Studies, and Research in Social Stratification and Mobility.
