Biosketch: Elisabetta Galeotti is Professor of Political Philosophy at the University of Eastern Piedmont. She was President of SIFA (Italian Society for Analytic Philosophy), she is Alumna of the Istitute for Adanced Study in Princeton, Life Fellow of the Safra Center for Ethics and Public Affairs at Harvard University, Life Member of Clare Hall of Cambridge: She has repeatedly collaborated with Anvur, the Italian Agency of University and Research Evaluation, as coordinator of the expert group for the evaluation of social and political products in the Italian academy and for the classification of journals in the same area. Her research comprises work on toleration, multiculturalism and social inclusion, and cognitive distortions affecting democratic processes. In the context of the Age-It Project she is co-leader of Spoke 7 on the social and political aspects of aging and she is presently working on the issue of intergenerational justice together with the spoke leader Vincenzo Galasso and the researchers of her WP.
