Biosketch: Cristina Meini is Professor of Philosophy of language at the University of Easter Piedmont, where she teaches Philosophy of communication, Reasoning and arguing, Philosophy of cognitive processes. In 2021-2023, she served as president of the Italian Society of Analytic Philosophy (SIFA). She is a member s of the faculty of the PhD Program in Life Course Research; Scientific (University of Florence) and of the PhD Program on Philosophy FINO (Universities of Eastern Piedmont, Turin, Pavia and Genoa). Her main research interests are in the philosophy of cognitive processes, particularly the construction and protection of self-identity, and the mental characteristics that make people prone to conspiracy theory.
