Biosketch: Enrico Sella, psychologist, is a Researcher (temporary type A) at the Department of General Psychology, University of Padova, Italy. He is a member of the University's Psychology of Aging and Longevity Service and a teaching member of the Second-Level Short Specialization degree course in Geropsychology for Longevity and Dementia (University of Padova). He received the award for the best aging research study by the Italian Society of Psychology of Aging. Currently, he is working on task 2.3 – “Beliefs and Attitudes Towards Aging Process Effects on Cognitive and Psychological Functioning”, part of WP 2 – “Design Effective Interventions to Improve Physiological Outcomes and Disease-Related Conditions in Middle-Aged and Older Adults” - of the Research Program “Age-It: Aging Well in an Aging Society”, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. He is the author of national and international publications on age-related differences and the effects of aging on psychological functioning and quality of life.
