Biosketch: Erika Borella, psychologist, is Full Professor at the Department of General Psychology, at the University of Padova where she teaches Psychology of Aging and Promotion of health in longevity. She is responsible for the University’s Psychology of Aging and Longevity Service, and she directs the Second-Level Short Specialization degree course in Geropsychology for longevity and dementia, and the Postgraduate Specialization degree course in Health Psychology. She is in the scientific board of the Italian Society of Psychology of Aging, full member of different national scientific association, and national representative of the Geropsychology Section Group of the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations. She is part of editorial boards of different indexed reviews/journals.She received the award for the best aging research study by the Centro Studi Alvise Cornaro. She is responsible of the 2.3 task -Beliefs and attitudes towards aging process effects on cognitive and psychological functioning- part of WP 2 -Design effective interventions to improve physiological outcomes and diseases-related conditions in middle aged and older adults)- of the the Research Programme Age-It (Ageing Well in an Ageing Society) funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
