Biosketch: Giulia Sebastianutto is a research scholar at the University of Padova at the department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology (FISPPA) under the supervision of Prof. Sara Mondini. In 2022, she got her Master’s degree in Neuroscience and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation from the University of Padova with a thesis on the effect of culture on cognition. In 2023 and 2024, she worked as supporting lecturer in the courses of “Assessment and Diagnosis in Clinical Neuropsychology” (M-PSI/08) and “Brain Disorders and Behaviour Across Cultures” (M-PSI/02). In March 2024, she enrolled in the National Order of Psychologists (“Albo degli Psicologi del Friuli Venezia Giulia”). Her current research interest delves into the protective factors for cognitive aging focusing on the role of Cognitive Reserve and Motor Reserve in predicting the cognitive outcome of older adults. She is also interested in cross-cultural neuropsychology and its implications in clinical practice.
