Biosketch: Lorenzo Filosa is a researcher in Work and Organizational Psychology at the Department of Psychology, Sapienza, University of Rome. He is the winner of several awards, including the "Minerva Prize for Scientific Research" from the Sapienza Foundation, the Italian Psychological Association Award for "Best Doctoral Thesis in Occupational Psychology" for his thesis focused on changes in self-concept during the transition to work, and the Italian Psychological Association Award for "Best Scientific Article Published in 2022." He conducts research in the areas of personality, individual differences and health as applied to organizational contexts. His main research interests include the role of the self and self-esteem in organizational behavior, motivational processes at work, psychophysiological correlates of work-related stress and burnout, aging and age differences in work adaptation processes, psychological testing and psychometrics applied to organizational contexts.
