Biosketch: Roberto Baiocco, Ph.D., is a Full Professor of Developmental Psychology at Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). He received a degree in Clinical and Community Psychology (1998) and a Ph.D. in Psychology (2005), both from Sapienza University of Rome, and a Quadriennial Psychotherapy Training as a family therapist at the “Scuola Romana di Terapia Familiare”, Rome, Italy. Since 2010, Roberto Baiocco has been Director of the “Be as you are” clinical research center for studying sexual orientation and gender identity. The center was established by the Department of Developmental and Social Psychology of the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, Sapienza University of Rome. Additionally, the center is deeply involved in training. Regarding research activities, the “Be as You Are” center promotes research programs and studies on LGBTQ+ well-being (http://dip38.psi.uniroma1.it/strutture/servizi-di-consulenza/6-come-sei). Member of the Scientific Technical Committee on Diversity and Inclusion and of the Teachers Training Committee of the Sapienza University of Rome. Member of the Reports Commission for Other Scientific Societies and Institutions of the Italian Society for Gender, Identity, and Health (SIGIS).
