WP 3 focuses on understanding the role of biomarkers to:
- better characterize multimorbidity, frailty and disability phenotypes;
- improve diagnosis and prognosis;
- support effective treatment strategies identification.
Moreover, it applies AI techniques to develop biomarker-based multiparametric predictive algorithms and support optimal clinical use of existing, innovative and novel biomarkers in multimorbid older patients.
- Task 3.1. Using biomarkers, included those identified in spoke#2, to better characterize multimorbidity, frailty and disability phenotypes and diagnosis/prognosis
- Task 3.2. Identifying accurate diagnostic biomarkers for age-related neurodegenerative diseases, multimorbidity, frailty and disability
- Task 3.3. Identifying accurate prognostic biomarkers for age-related diseases, multimorbidity, frailty and disability
- Task 3.4. Circomet - Existing, innovative and novel biomarkers in age-related diseases - (WP3 Task 3.4) BAC1_001
- Task 3.5. Developing biomarker-based multiparametric predictive AI algorithms and supporting optimal use of existing, innovative and novel biomarkers in multimorbid older patients
- Task 3.6. Exploiting AI to support optimal clinical use of existing, innovative and novel biomarkers in multimorbid older patients
- publication of scientific reports (M12),
- ~4 scientific publications focusing on identification of accurate diagnostic biomarkers for age-related diseases, multimorbidity, frailty (~M30).
