Biosketch: Gianni Corsetti is a researcher at the Directorate of Social Statistics and Population Census of the Italian National Institute of Statistics. His research activity includes population and family forecasts. He is a member of the Eurostat Working Group on Population Projections. He is involved in the production of official population statistics regarding the Base Register of Individuals and Households and demographic balance based on micro-data.
