Biosketch: Sara Landini, PHD in civil law, is Full Professor of Business law at the University of Florence where she teaches private law and insurance law.
From 2012 to 2022 she was Member of the Doctoral School of the University of Perugia. From 2022 she is Member of the Doctoral School of Law of the University of Florence.
She is external reviewer of PHD candidates at University of Exeter (UK), University of Pretoria (South Africa), University of Bologna, University of Ca' Foscari di Venezia, University of Turin.
She has taught at prestigious academies and universities.
In 2018, she was a Visiting Professor at Toyo University in Tokyo, and during the 2019/2020 academic year, she was an Affiliate at the University of Sydney in New South Wales.
Since 2010, she has served as the Scientific Secretary of CISA, the Inter-Academic Center for Actuarial Studies. Since 2012, she has been a member of the PC of AIDA (International Association of Insurance Law) Italy and AIDA World. Since 2017, she has been a member of the scientific committee of 'Agromafie,' an initiative by Coldiretti. Since 2016, she has also been a member of the Guarantee Council of IVASS (the Italian Insurance Supervisory Authority).
She has been the Principal Investigator (P.I.) for several European projects, including: 'GoinEu,' JUST-JCOO-CIVI-AG-2016, financed by the European Commission; 'GoinEuPlus,' JUST-JCOO-CIVI-AG-2017, financed by the European Commission; 'PI_IS,' financed under the Jean Monnet – Erasmus Plus Program 2019.
She coordinates UNIFI agreements for the exchange of research staff and students, particularly since 2015, between Toyo University in Tokyo and the University of Florence; since 2017, between Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto and the University of Florence; between the University of Pretoria (South Africa) and the University of Florence; and since 2019, between the University of Sydney in New South Wales and the University of Florence.
She coordinates numerous master's programs and postgraduate courses on medically assisted procreation and she is Directors board of the Tanatocentrum.
She is Statutory Board of the Assicurazioni Generali.
