Biosketch: Alberto Catalano is a research fellow at the University of Eastern Piedmont (UNIUPO), Department of Translational Medicine, employed in the AGE-IT project, specifically in Spoke10. He holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Medicine and Therapy and a master's degree in Statistical and Economic Methods for Decisions from the University of Turin (UNITO). He had a predominantly statistical and epidemiological background. He mainly focused his research on multimorbidity, social epidemiology, and COVID-19, and conducted several projects which involve the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC) and the Piedmont Longitudinal Study (PLS).
