Biosketch: Carla Letizia Busceti is PhD Scientist at Neuromed Institute, Pozzilli (Italy). She graduated in Biological Science at the University of Pisa, Italy, in 1999, and got her PhD in Neurobiology at the University of Catania, Italy, in 2005. In 2018 she got the Italian National Scientific Licence for associate professor in human anatomy (scientific disciplinary sector 05/H1). She is co-author of 142 peer-reviewed articles with H-index = 42.
Work Experiences:
Proven experience on: Histological and immunohistochemical analysis conducted with optical microscopy and stereological counting and behavioral tests for assessment of cognitive and motor performance, anxiety and depression in mice.
Grants: 2014-2018 Principal Investigator of the GR ordinary project founded by Ministry of Health (GR-2011-02350132, Young Researcher, 2011-2012), title “Role of the glycoprotein Dickkopf-3 in the stroke susceptibility”, with Neuromed as Applicant Institution.
