Biosketch: Cecilia Tomassini is Professor of Demography at the University of Molise, where he teaches Demography and Population Dynamics. She served as President of the Italian Association for Population Studies; Counsellor of CNEL and member of the Italian system of evaluation for researchers (ASN). Currently, she is the Scientific Coordinator of the Research Programme Age-It (Ageing Well in an Ageing Society) funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (~115 mil Euros) for the University of Molise and Co-PI of Spoke 5. She is co-editorof GENUS – Journal of Population Sciences. Her research addresses: Population Ageing, Intergenerational transfers, health and mortality at older ages, inner areas.
