Biosketch: Edoardo Gioele Spinelli is an Assistant Professor ("Ricercatore a tempo indeterminato tipo A") at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. He is a physician neurologist with a 12-year research experience in neuroimaging. His publications were mostly focused on MRI findings within several age-related neurological conditions, including Alzheimer's disease and the clinical and pathological continuum of frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) and motor neuron disease, their relationship with specific genetic background, and the identification of predictors of survival and clinical outcome in these conditions. He has obtained his PhD degree in 2022, discussing the results of a project on the MRI structural and functional connectomic alterations of the FTLD spectrum of disorders. He has acquired skills in neuroimaging connectivity methods to perform network MRI analysis, statistical correlation analysis with transcriptomic data and elaboration of multimodal prognostic models.
