Biosketch: Rossella Miglio is Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of Bologna, where she teaches Advanced Survival Analysis, Biostatistics, Biometrics and Longitudinal Data Analysis. She is academic advisor for the curriculum Health and Population analytics of the Master degree “Statistical Sciences”.
Currently she is coordinator of the research unit of Bologna (University of Bologna), MIUR – PRIN research Program “SOcial and health Frailty as determinants of Inequality in Aging (SOFIA)” and participate to the Research Programme Age-It (Ageing Well in an Ageing Society) funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and to the Complementary National Plan PNC-I.1 ""Research initiatives for innovative technologies and pathways in the health and welfare sector”
Area of interest and research: time to event analysis, statistical methods in epidemiology and clinical research, study on geographical longevity pattern and populations of extremely old people, frailty indicators, environmental epidemiology, regression models and classification methods, propensity score methods, estimate of the treatment effect in presence of non-compliance, statistical methods for genetic data.
