Biosketch: Dr. Stefania Moz is a biologist and works at the Laboratory Medicine Unit of the Integrated Educational-Scientific-Assistant Department (DIDAS) Diagnostic Services of the Hospital - University of Padua. She did the School of Clinical Pathology and Biochemistry and PhD Course in Clinical and Experimental Sciences of the University of Padua. Dr. Moz has a professional curriculum which shows her training and experience in the field of biochemistry and laboratory medicine with particular reference to the preparation, characterization and analysis of cell cultures also for diagnostic-clinical purposes. Dr. Moz teaches “Applications of cellular biochemistry in the clinical laboratory” course in the School of Clinical Pathology and Biochemistry of the University of Padua. Her research addresses: the translational research whose main objectives were the identification of new biomarkers in the oncology field and in osteo-articular diseases and the standardization through pre-analytical and analytical validation of emerging molecular diagnostic methodologies. Furthermore, the aim of the research was to study the crosstalk between pancreatic cancer and immune cells, the discovery of new biomarkers and the genetic involvement in spondyloarthritis and systemic autoinflammatory disease. She is a scientific coordinator of the study titled: New molecular biomarkers in the diagnosis of pancreatic cysts carried out of the University Hospital of Padua.
